What a clean costs
Most cleaning companies around here hide their rates behind a form. We don't. These are our flat rates for a standard clean, before HST.

Prefer to pay by the hour?
$35 per cleaner, per hour, three-hour minimum. Our team is two people, so a three-hour visit is $210 and covers most homes up to about 2,000 square feet.
Booking regularly?
Weekly cleans get 5% off and bi-weekly 3% off from your second visit. We keep the discount small on purpose — we'd rather pay our cleaners properly and send you the same trusted team every time.

A full reset: baseboards, inside cupboards, light fixtures, detailed bathroom and kitchen work. Worth doing once or twice a year even on a regular schedule.
Move-in & move-out
Empty-home cleans for closing day, end of lease, or before you unpack. Inside every cupboard, appliance and closet.
Post-construction
New builds and renovations, including the Mattamy homes in Upper Joshua Creek. Dust removal, sticker and residue removal, final polish.

How much should I pay a cleaner per hour in Ontario?
Most cleaning companies in the Oakville–Burlington–Milton area charge between $45 and $60 per cleaner, per hour. Heron Cleaning charges $35 per cleaner, per hour, with a three-hour minimum — so a standard visit with our two-person team starts at $105. Independent cleaners often charge less, but you won't get a fixed price or a set team.
What will a cleaner actually do in 3 hours?
Three hours with our two-person team is six cleaner-hours — enough for a full standard clean of a typical 3-bedroom home: all bathrooms, the kitchen including exterior appliance surfaces, dusting and wiping every room, and floors vacuumed and washed throughout. Deep-clean work like inside the oven, inside the fridge or interior windows is added on top.
What is the going rate for a house cleaner in Ontario?
For a company with a two-person team, $45–$60 per cleaner-hour is the going rate across the GTA in 2026. A full standard clean of a 3-bedroom home typically lands between $140 and $280 depending on size and condition. Our flat rate for that home is $175.
Do I need to tip my cleaners?
Never expected, always appreciated. If you'd like to, 10–15% is typical — around $20–$30 on a $175 clean. Our cleaners are paid well above minimum wage either way, so please don't feel obliged.
